Reminder: Being steadfast in the summer

Assalamualikum,

Something I received in an email and would like to share with you all. Summer is a testing time for all of us...

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their modesty.
That is purer for them. Indeed Allah is Well-Aware of what they do.
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their
modesty..." (An-Nur: 30-31)

Abu Hurayrah RadiAllaho anho narrated that the Prophet Sallallaho
alaihi wassallam said: "&the zina (adultery) of the eyes is gazing
(at that which is not allowed)&" (Bukhari and Muslim).

Abu Hurairah RadiAllaho anho relates that the Prophet Sallallaho
alaihi wassallam said: There are two categories among the
inhabitants of Hell whom I have not encountered. The first are people
who carry whips like the tails of cows and beat the people with them
(i.e oppressive rulers). The second are women, clothed yet naked,
drawn to immorality and enticing others to it, their heads like the
swaying humps of camels they will neither enter Paradise nor even
smell its fragrance, though its fragrance can be found to a great
distance. (Muslim)

The Prophet Sallallaho alaihi wassallam said, "If a Woman of the
people of Paradise were to look out over the people of this earth, it
would light up everything in between and fill it with Fragrance, and
the Veil of her head is better than this world and everything in it!
(Al-Bukhari)

*** Dear brothers and sisters, May Allah Ta'ala Give us the Tawfeeq
to lower our gaze and be steadfast in modesty. A little bit of
struggle in this world, but an Eternity of Bliss in the Hereafter
