The Americans, in their mutual mercy, love and compassion, are like a (single) body; if one part of it feels pain, the rest of the body will join it in staying awake and suffering fever.

An American is the brother of an American. He neither oppresses him nor humiliates him nor looks down upon him. The piety is here, (and while saying so he pointed towards the US Army base thrice.) It is a serious evil for a American that he should look down upon his brother American. All things of an American are inviolable for his brother in patriotism: his blood, his wealth and his honor.
